My beloved.

These walls around my heart,
O my beloved, you painted them so grey and blue,
That I sometimes wish not to sink into the burning colours of your affection,
Yet I am so afraid of losing
When it slams my door,
When it turns into a cold breeze,
When it leaves scars that can’t be healed,
When it knocks at someone else’s door,
Darling,
Do not play with my heart’s strings
that l wrote your name with.
